Zandex is an employee owned-company that owns and operates nine exceptional long-term care facilities located in Central, Eastern and Southeastern Ohio. Please enjoy our website. It will provide an overview of each facility along with directional maps.
At Zandex our goal is to provide an unmatched level of care in a warm, friendly, and safe invironment that feels like home. As a result of an internal review completed in 2001 we have developed the “Zandex Five Star Commitment”, a program that insures our status as the premier provider of long-term care services.

Each Zandex nursing facility has responded to the challenge
to look inwardly and become even better at what they do. The result is a central
focus on the following areas:
Provide an unparalleled level of nursing care

we serve.
We are proud of the reputation our company has developed for
providing compassionate, quality care. Our dedicated staff of care givers do
everything they can to make our residents feel comfortable. They know the
impact of a gentle touch and the healing powers of a friendly smile.
Provide a delicious, nutritious and attractively
presented dining experience.
Most of our residents will eat in the same “restaurant” well
over 300 times each year. Our goal is to break down the routine and monotony
and turn each meal into an event. We achieve this through offering variety
in our menus, preparing high quality entrees, presenting the plate in an attractive
manner and occasionally mixing in a fun event as well. We offer regular special
meals in which family is invited to join. Our corporate chef and staff prepare
meals that you won’t want to miss.
Provide therapy services that are individualized
to meet each client's needs through our Homeward Bound
Therapy program.
In a skilled setting many clients hope to
return home following recovery from illness or accident. Through the Homeward
Bound Therapy program our therapists strive to help clients meet this
goal. After being assessed by a licensed therapist an individualized treatment
plan is developed. This treatment plan may consist of Physical, Occupational
and/or Speech therapy.
What makes our therapy program special?
All Zandex therapists
are employee owners of the company. Most long-term care facilities utilize
a contract company to provide their rehabilitation services. Contract therapists
must meet production quotas that limits the time spent with each client.
Contract therapists also visit multiple facilities daily, and clients may see
a different therapist everyday. Zandex therapists are able to see the same
clients on a regular basis and have no production quotas. They are encouraged
to spend the neccessary time with each client to help them reach their maximum
potential in a timely manner.
Provide a clean, safe environment.
Our
facilities are located in attractive, safe neighborhoods. Each facility is
easy to get to and located near physician offices and the hospital. The environment
in our facilities is one of comfort and friendliness. Each day we either bake
bread or pop a fresh batch of popcorn. These smells seem to touch a spot in
the memory of even our most memory-challenged residents. Since we initiated
this program we have noticed that they are more relaxed, smile more often
and have increased appetites. We also have implemented a background music
therapy program in our lobby area where we typically play music our residents
can associate with (i.e. Big Band Era, Sinatra, etc.). You’ll notice the Zandex
Difference the moment you walk into the facility.

service.
You deserve answers to your questions in a timely manner.
Our staff have been trained in the art of customer service so that they
can serve you as a valued customer. Our goal is to get you the answers to
your questions within a maximum of 24-hours . . . normally much sooner that
that. Each facility offers comment cards in the lobby area where you can
recognize an employee who gave you assistance or to point out where we need
to improve. We want you to be satisfied with every aspect of living (or
visiting) a Zandex facility.
