Programs Offered at the Zandex Training Center


Nurse Aide Training Class
An Ohio Department of Health approved Nurse Aide training program.  The program consists of 66 classroom hours followed by 24 clinical hours.  Providing basic knowledge and skills needed to provide bedside care in a long term care facility.  Each student is given the opportunity to learn and practice skills necessary for caring for older residents.  An instructor is available for questions and answers.  This class will prepare the student to take the ODH State Test. << more information >>

Dining Assistant
A class written and approved by the Ohio Department of Health.  The training course for dining assistants will provide a combined total of at least ten hours of instruction including one hour of clinical.  This is a class designed for training staff to assist with feeding residents.  These residents have been assessed and do not have complicated feeding problems.

CPR / FA
Adult CPR/FA is offered through the Training Center upon request.  Facilities may call the Training Center and make arrangements for these classes.

State Testing
Zandex Health Care is an Ohio Department of Health approved testing site for our employees who have successfully completed a Nurse Aide Training Program in the state of Ohio.  Testing is offered once a month at the Training Center, located at Adams Lane.
